Honeymoons


After your celebration, an intimate honeymoon awaits. The resort's Island Romance Package offers a choice of luxurious accommodations for eight days and seven nights, a welcome bottle of champagne, arrival amenities, daily meals, choice of a day trip to Virgin Gorda or St. Thomas, round-trip transfers, unlimited ferry service to and from Tortola, and unlimited use of island activities such as watersports, mountain biking, day and evening tennis, and beachfront fitness center.

For those seeking the best of both during their first days together, Peter Island offers the Ashore/Afloat Package with five nights of resort accommodations and two nights aboard the 41' sailing yacht "Silmaril."

The Spa at Peter Island's Signature Series Package and Pleasures in Paradise Package, can be added to any rate or existing package and includes one massage for two (75 minutes), one body scrub for two (50 minutes), one body wrap for two (50 minutes), and one Thalasso Mud Bowl al Fresco for two.

Newlyweds can enjoy a much-needed respite on one of five beaches, including Honeymoon Beach, the resort's smallest beach offering only two lounge chairs beneath a single thatched umbrella table. Island tradition dictates that lovers pay tribute to the beach at least once during their stay… one couple at a time, of course.

From a spectacular, yet understated exchange of vows, to a traditional ceremony and reception, or family gathering, we look forward to making your experience in the British Virgin Islands unique and memorable.

In order to preserve the island's ambience, Peter Island Resort requests that all invitees with any Wedding and/or Special Event be "registered" guests of the resort or its marina.



Your Wedding in Paradise is priced from U.S. $2,500 and includes:
  • Sight location fee (Crow's Nest Villa additional)
  • Dedicated Resort Coordinator
  • British Virgin Islands' Wedding License Fees and Stamps
  • Registrar Fees
  • Round-trip taxi transfers to file formal application
  • Elegant, traditional bridal bouquet
  • Groom's boutonnière
  • Wedding cake for two
  • One bottle of house champagne and two keepsake, logo engraved, champagne flutes


Additional services and amenities are available through the resort and its vendors. They include vow renewals, catering, photography, videography, floral upgrades, spa treatments, salon services, music, décor, gifts and more.

Marriage in the British Virgin Islands requires establishing "residency" for at least three business days. On the first day after arrival in the BVI, a representative from the resort will escort the couple into Road Town to accomplish the following:

  • File formal wedding license application with the Attorney General (couple must be prepared to present their passports, immigration cards, and where applicable, certified divorce papers and/or death certificates.
  • Visit the resort's florist and any vendors prior to the ceremony date.
